The 2013 MTV Movie Awards Nominees Are…
What do a bounty hunter, a talking teddy bear, a psych ward patient, and a bunch of superheroes have in common? They're all nominated for Movie of the Year at the MTV Movie Awards!

MTV's annual celebration of film always garners an eclectic field of nominees, and this year's is no exception. Vying for the top popcorn are 'Django Unchained', 'Silver Linings Playbook', 'Ted', 'The Avengers', and 'The Dark Knight Rises'.

Signature categories like Best Fight and Best Kiss are back for 2013—and this year, after bagging the award four times straight, R-Pattz and K-Stew were shut out of the smooching competition, which makes for a VERY interesting field! And after taking 2012 off, Best Scared-as-S*** Performance is back. True, Jennifer Lawrence was up against Jessica Chastain for many acting prizes this awards season…but we're pretty sure this is the only one where she's nominated for her work in 'House at the End of the Street'.

Plus, some new categories are making their debut, and true to Movie Awards form, they're not the typical awards season kudos! There's the prestigious honour of Best Shirtless Performance, for which hunks like Channing Tatum and Taylor Lautner are up against Seth MacFarlane's talking teddy Ted. And Best Musical Moment finds critical darling Anne Hathaway's tear-jerking 'Les Miz' number up against the stripper revue from 'Magic Mike'.

While 'Django' and 'Ted' lead the pack of nominees with seven apiece (followed by 'Silver Linings Playbook' with six and 'The Dark Knight Rises' with five), there's plenty of nomination love spread around—movies ranging from 'Lincoln' to 'The Hobbit' to 'Texas Chainsaw 3D' received a nod. And the leading lady of this year's Movie Awards, Rebel Wilson, got three for 'Pitch Perfect'—two solo, for Best Female Performance and Breakthrough Performance, and one with her costars for Best Musical Moment.

Check out all the nominees and make your predictions about who will win right here! Then tune in to the Movie Awards on 15 April to find out if you were right!
